Creative Gatherings

ARTRITE: Guided Creative Rites

ARTRITE are intimate, guided creative rites—a space for artists and non-artists alike to gather, observe, and transform materials into art. Each session is led by a professional artist who guides without dictating, leaving space for your intuition, curiosity, and presence.

Every creation becomes part of a collective online exhibition, celebrating the ritual of making and the alchemy of shared experience.

Forms by Hand

This session is not a traditional ceramics class. Instead, it’s an invitation to slow down and work with clay in a meditative way—intentionally simple and rustic, with room for spaciousness, experimentation, and creative freedom. There are no wheels and no pressure—just hands and earth. No prior experience is needed.

Trial of Fire

This session centers on the firing of ancestral pottery, using one of several traditional firing methods. The process is communal and open-ended, honoring both chance and transformation. We’ll close by sharing a communal picnic together.

Plein Air

outdoor gathering

A transmutation of landscape into art, working outdoors with light, air, and presence as your companions.

Every creation becomes part of a collective online exhibition, celebrating the ritual of making and the alchemy of shared experience.

Still Life

indoor gathering

A guided rite of observation, where objects are transformed through attention, light, and form.

A still life arrangement serves as a visual point of departure throughout the session. Participants are invited to paint what they observe, rather than focusing on perfect representation, this session encourages personal interpretation and imaginative response
